In Search of Starbucks

My friend Laurel is the one who tells me about all of the amazing new things in the world. Click here to see her adorable baby, Beckett. She has always been in front of the style curve, technology curve & retail curve. Here's her latest addition to my life:

I'm probably the last to know about it. It's a customized Starbucks Card. You can choose your background, what you look like & a tag line. I let the kids help me design it. For the record, I like to think that my hair is more of a mocha/cappuccino than a naturally curly Frieda Red. Plus, I don't usually wear my tiara that much. :)

The sad part? Starbucks is no closer than 60 miles from my Vermont home.

Oh, I would not have done well without a starbucks these past few months. Its been a consistent craving = )

It may not be close, but at least you have a very cool card to use when you get there!

Maybe you can use it when you are traveling in larger cities? I guess I've grown used to them, being in the Pacific NW, they are on every street corner, even in the suburbs! Cool card though!

Can you believe that they aren't near me? I went to high school with a guy who is now their Northeast VP yada yada and he told me that I'd NEVER see a Starbucks here in Randolph because it's "such a dinky town" He's a nice guy, though.

*sniff*

On the bright side, we do have lots of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters coffee... that's good too, but no card.

Now that is the cutest thing~ And just make sure to wear the tiara when running about in town, just in case the Northeast VP, shows up in Randolph! He'll certainly know that it's not "such a dinky town."

Cute. I'm more of a baseball hat girl although when I was younger, I was a bandana girl (child of the 70's, yeah). I love your card. Holding the coffee and being so happy and Starbuck-y!!

ps I am going to miss their egg sandwiches. So sad they are stopping them//// :(

I'm a huge ball cap girl, too! (red sox, of course!) It's my uniform for days when I haven't even time to look in the mirror! And bandanas? I'm going to start wearing them again just to stir it up around here! ;)
(since I can't stir my Starbucks!!)

Haha gotta love Vermont. Also, one of the only states to not have a Target...that always drives me nuts when I go to my parents.

Hey Sarah! Where are your parents?
I know there's a Target in Concord NH. That's 90 miles! :) I wish we could get rid of the Wal-Marts that are 20 miles away and have one of those lovely Targets instead! However, we have a wonderfully, vibrant downtown with awesome independently owned shops... I wouldn't trade that for Starbucks AND Target! :)
