Ginger Lime Love & a Huge Win for the A's

This is my latest swirly batch. It smells sooo good. The fragrance is Ginger Lime from BrambleBerry. It held up really well in this batch~even through a fairly hot gel phase. It also has a great lather and longevity! You can grab some from Etsy.

Peter's Little League team the A's won their second play-off game last night and earned their spot in the finals. It was a really close, well played game! Both teams played their hearts out and everyone played with great sportsmanship! It was so fun to watch.

I love the A's coaches and the attitude of the kids. They are in it to play well and play hard. They all do their best and they know that winning isn't everything. (Although it is fun!) They play with lots of guts and hustle. Good luck tomorrow in the finals, A's! No matter what you are all winners!

Congrats to Peter and the A's!

Heather what kind of colorant did you use for the Ginger Lime? And, how did it soap? I've used BB's Ginger Lime, but in addition to a few additional fo's in a blend (it was yummy in the blend) but never by itself. Love the swirls.

Hey Trisha, I used ultramarine green pigment powder. The ginger lime behaved really well. I am a slow mixer because I hate getting to trace to quickly. It takes all of the therapy out of making the soap! I liked it straight up, although it was tempting to "hook it up" with some coconut. It's a nice tart guy/girl blend.

That's too funny... my blend had a bit of Coconut Lemongrass fo added, funny, how the Coconut seems to work with a tropical theme. Love the colors!

C~G~ yes, that's the same little league that almost didn't let Peter play. Yay for Gerry for being such a persistent dad.

kelley~thank goodness I'm not the only one with a surplus of fo's. OMG I must have 300 bottles. And I love all of them!

Wow! That is a great looking swirl. I think I might have some ultramarine green...definitely have to give it a try.

Yay for the A's. I can't wait until my kids are old enough for little league. My husband is an awesome ball player so I'm sure one of mine got that gene = )

That's the most perfect swirl! I love it and a ginger lime fragrance would suit it wonderfully!

Thanks for the bday wishes, girls. I actually have had a stomach virus since Thursday. It makes me remember how very bad a little kid can feel! Poor Cora had the same thing the week before me. I hope I was sympathetic enough... Anyway, now I have my sickness out of the way for this year!
