Patriots Fever Hits All Time High

There was a time when I couldn't even understand the rules of football. When I was a little girl, my dad must have explained "first down" to me 157 times and I never got it. I remember how much he loved watching football. I can still see him jumping up and down in our living room when Doug Flutie threw his Hail Mary Pass to Gerard Phelan in 1980-something. He was so psyched.

My wonderful husband Gerry took over where my dad left off. He explained downs to me 158 times and I finally got it!! After 17 1/2 years of marriage, I have caught his love of football and am experiencing Patriots Fever hard-core!

We are watching all updates on NFL network, ESPN, the Globe, and whatever else we can find!

The kids are just as psyched and we all know that it doesn't get any better than this!

We love our Vermont life and all of the beauty and joy it offers to us. This is such a great place to raise a family. But, I must say, it's a great time to be able to say that we grew up in Boston and that's where our hearts will always be.

I think this picture of Gerry says it all! GO PATS!!!!
